The Daniels Mural Project is part of U of T’s response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s report, Answering the Call: Wecheehetowin. It responds specifically to Call to Action No. 2, a strategy for the funding and placement of more Indigenous public art across all three campuses in close consultation with local Indigenous communities.

The scope of the Daniels Mural Project was to install Que Rock’s artwork across the northern facade of UofT’s Daniels School of Architecture. The landscaping at ground level presented hazards for the use of booms, considering the steep slope and uneven terrain. Fanfare GI met with UofT and Made2Measure Signworks to present simple rope access rigging solutions, which would not only be safe, but cost-effective and damage free.
