TIFF X VISA

- Trimline of Durham

The festivity of TIFF is a sight to remember. The buzz of King Street West during the end of summer is perfectly fitting for an install of this nature. Our team needed to be creative with the rigging solutions for this project since there was a lack of engineered anchors on the main roof. In this case, we ran our ropes 200ft up to an adjacent roof and set up a tensioned support line to deviate our ropes laterally across the lower access point. Not only was this method safe but it was highly efficient. There were no delays in set up time, which is typical of swing stages and booms, and our team could operate freely across the southern facade. Rope access was crucial for the completion of this project because of hazards (power lines) below; not to mention the cost of blocking off king street west prior to the festivals start date.
